i need help understanding how to hack dayz

so I have been looking around for some hacks and i just need to understand a few things..

A bypass is a program that allows you to, as the name states, bybass Arma 2's BattleEye security and execute scripts 'safely'. There currently isn't one out, but the best bet if you know how, is to code your own private one - Or wait for the next release.

Scripts allow you to manipulate the DayZ engine using functions processed by it, allowing you to spawn various vehicles, items and make other occurrences happen.

Yes, so to speak they all 'work'; but none are 100% safe - browse the forum and view the posts to get an idea of what does/n't work.

Yes, they both run the same game engine. DayZ is merely an Arma 2 mod. Just don't use hacks that bring in blacklisted (items not used in DayZ) vehicles/items.

Yes, they require a working bybass though.
