Once again, you don't fail to amuse me with your ignorance and stupidity. I'm not an atheist, I've already said that before. Furthermore, based on the context in which you are using 'atheist', you seem to think the word carries extreme negative connotations. When in reality all it really means is someone who doesn't worship a deity. Here's the etymology of the word atheist.

1570s, from Fr. athéiste (16c.), from Gk. atheos "without god, denying the gods; abandoned of the gods; godless, ungodly," from a- "without" + theos "a god"

The only difference between you and an atheist is that he worships one less god. After all, you don't worship Zeus, Odin, Osiris and the countless other deities that have existed before Jesus. To any sane person these deities are myths. So to an atheist Christianity is just one more myth. It does necessarily mean that person is evil or even immoral. Use your head and broaden your horizons, because right now your just making yourself out to be the dumb, narrow minded, inbred you are.

I had a christian tell me "Mid as well believe in a god, at least then you'll have a chance at heaven." Really? Is that why people follow religion now? Because they're fucking scared?

I believe we cease to exist - maybe there is some fucked up shit that happens with time (I.e the universe repeats itself etc...) that we haven't discovered. There is a lot of crazy things that we don't know about time. I.e you and I are probably living in different positions in time. Even as I post this. It has been proven via high-frequency clocks that time is a function of speed and mass. As such, if I orbit an object of heavier mass, I will iterally travel further in time. They have flown a plane around the world and discovered that it traveled further in time than, say, a stationary clock as a plane is traveling at a higher speed.

With that said, even though it is probably fundemental human nature for me to fail to do so, I cannot feel as if I am anything but independant thought - independant entirely of my human body. Even though it has been highly suggested otherwise.

Religion is a very poor & broken model used by ancient human beings to explain earth.
