i have a p4 setup to run as a server...it still works..lolz...and it's been on for like 2 months straight...lol...and it's a prescott too... :P

i did my laptop for a week, and then it fried >.> started making funny noises and refused to boot up windows, nor linux either :s then again...it was something like a 14 year old laptop...

the most i do on my comp now is a couple of days for torrents, there really hasn't been a reason for me to leave it on for longer.

I keep my comp on nearly all the time, i think the last time i shutdown was about 2 weeks ago.

My laptop has gone through 2 HDD's so far from me leaving it on for more than 3 days at a time, so I shut it off nightly.

Besides, sounds like a vacuum cleaner everytime it warms up.

your video card sucks donkey balls, i have a 512mb ddr2, still not the best but one of them i guess, i got a amd athlon 2800+ 2.08GHz overclocked to 2.80 GHz and 1gb RAM
