Aerodynamics and Weight

I've been searching through the internet a bit trying to figure out if Aerodynamics (Lowering Kits/Spoilers) play a big part in a cars Acceleration or Handling... Really haven't found anything, So I figured I would turn to you guys and see what replies I get.

Also, I know weight obviously helps a car when ramming cops, but not 100% sure if it effects top speed at all.. What I mean is... lets say 2 cars both have the same top speed rating of 600, one's heavier than the other, would they both still have the same top speed?

in this game, body kits dont affect performance

visual doesn't have effect on performance. but for lowering kit, when you drive through spike, and ruin your tire. it will slow like hell.

Only lowering kit affects handling a bit. Sometimes its good to have lowering sometimes its bad.
