Well out of the 2 definitely "Would you like to go out" or whatever. Sometimes I ask it out of the norm depending on the situation. Like once I went up to the girl (after we knew we would start dating) and just said "I think you know what I'm about to ask". That one was cool

Personally, I'd take her out a few times, then I'd chill at her place or my place and shit like that. Idk, I just like chicks that are chill and don't always require expensive dates and shit.

What I do is I just take my girlfriend out like once a month to somewhere like Applebees or this kind of fancy restaurant. The rest of the time we just hang. Works great.

The process is to repeat that, until something which would commit either of you to a relationship occurs. There on you are her "BF" and her your "GF".
