So, obviously it's 9/11. If any of you don't know what that is, go read a fucking book. Anyways, I had one of the 9/11 discussions today in school for some of my classes, and I'm sure a lot of other people who go to school in the US did as well. Anyways, I wanna see your guys' opinions and what YOU think about 9/11, and what it's done.
To start out, 9/11 has pretty much intensified the US. Congress passed the Patriotic Act which allows the Government to read your emails, listen to your calls, and basically go in your house without you knowing if you are a suspected terrorist. They also came out with more intense security in Airports, and someone brang up a good point today - the new 360 degree scanners at the Airport (that literally can see everything) (or the new famous PATDOWN) is an invasion of our 4th amendment - Freedom to Privacy. I've never had both of them, but I've looked up on it.
Though, I PERSONALLY feel as if since 9/11 - we as people we're not surprised or anything anymore to what happens. For example, the Aurora shooting here in Colorado. You see it on TV, and you're like, "Oh wow, that's terrible" (click) "what's on TV?". Growing up, all we see nowadays are violence, so nothing will ever really surprise, or scare us anymore.

I saw today a movie in which a lot of ameri-fags get killed in iraq :P
and 9/11 is still a "reason" to bomb other countries for the US...
I don't see the beginning of the Annapolis Convention being televised much.
Ha, history.
I live in NY and I was in 1st-2nd grade when it happened. I posted this on my Facebook a few hours ago, and no one has criticized me for it. I guess they just seem to brush it off, it isn't as big a deal as the media makes it seems. I mean soldiers and innocent iraq civilians were dying on a daily basis but no one "mourned" for them.
OT:
9/11 + CoD
My school didn't say a word about it. I don't know why, just didn't.
Wow fagots just making a joke out of this...
Well, today in History class we had to do a essay on how it impacted on the families and how the US reacted to the attack. I also think that the US was actually waiting for an attack so they would have a reason to go to war because we knew it will be easy to take them down, and mostly everyone who lives in the US is already ust to seeing all those violence shit happening on TV and its just basically a everyday thing..

I'm not a "fagot"
The attacks happened when I was in fourth grade, before school even started since we're on the westcoast. So we just sat and watched the T.V. and just had as much of a simple day as you can get with some fourth graders.

PS - GTFO random.
Not one teacher even talked about it =l
It was a sad day in american history and people just take it like a joke ... how sad
Sadly, none of my teachers including my global teacher didn't bring up any conversation regarding 9/11.
R.I.P to those who were victims of the unfortunate day of 9/11. I was only in preschool at the time, so I don't remember anything about it.
Not american so care
No one talked about this at school today.
For some reason I can't remember what happened at my school like 10 years ago when it happened.
