I would like to say I predicted Obito would be able to see out of his eye transplanted in Kikashi.
And Imagine, you only saw through kikashi when he was in action, it probably looked he was only killing people (most weaker than him).
I do not also buy into Madara setting it up, their is not trick. Madara just knows that this cycle exist and he's seen it enough times.

Lets just assume rin dies somehow, obito gets angry, follows midara's plan. done.
I almost want to bet Madara has nothing to do with this. He has experienced the World of Naruto problem of killing out of anger cycle of blah blah blah, He knew eventually Obito was going to get hurt eventually. It just happened so that it happened imediatley after he left Madara cave.
Think about it, every single mother fucker in the Narutoverse has been hurt emotionaly by the death of someone else they held dear. They then enacted sometype of change to either protect everyone or avenge everyone, to the point where the bad guys and good guys practically fuse into one. Madara knew the world of the Shinobi hadn't change. It's a giant cluster fuck of fuck cycle that nobody can avoid. Even Obito.

Its impossible to stop as long as they remain ninja because a ninja is not a civilian but a soldier.(irl an assasin/spy). The cycle really only exist because the majority are ninja and not civilians. Which IRL it was the opposite.
