If you had a gun?

Last night on 20/20 it showed if you had a gun and showed that a gun does not really protect you unless you are superbly well trained. what do you think about this and would you be able to protect yourself if you had a gun?

never had a need for a gun i awlays had my knife... no and i'm not pulling a brock sampson either... i always been that way.


i forgot i gave my cuz a house key for when he was on his travels, he could always crash over, no matter what time. one night, about 2 in the morning i wake up and the door is rustling, i unsheathed my knifed and when the door opened i rushed the bastard the was entering. while i went to draw my knife backwards i didn't know who it was. usually when things scare me or are trying, i attack, natural response. needless to say while drawing the knife downward my cousin screamed my name, and i stopped striking the dirt right next to him, i felt bad for making him almost shit his pants, because i forgot to tell him during the winter time, lift the door when you try to unlock, otherwise it will sound like you're breaking in.

id like to see you run at someone who has a gun with a samurai sword....I can invision it now....guy pulls out his sword and starts charging and screaming and taunting, AHHHHHH!!!!!, then the guy with the gun points the barrel directly at his head, one milisecond later, silence fills the air as the smoke from his gun dissipates into the thin, cold air...as the guy with the sword lies on the ground, cold to the touch, and has ultimately made his last step.
