Some very interesting things are happening on the next build.
The most interesting from a hacking perspective is potion stacking and pvp zombies.Code:Several new things in this build: health and magic potion stacking new profanity filter - back to original behavior (spam filter coming) Currrrrrsed amulets Misc bug fixes
Anyone turned into a zombie yet and care to share with us what it is all about?
Also can anyone predict when the new build will be out? I'm thinking we'll have a new build here on the 31st to go along with the ammy change but I'm not sure it will be the 4.0 build.

So I take it the zombie is just a mob that spawns which the player who died has no control over? I like it. Makes the ammy more interesting than the "here you go buddy, have another life" way it was before. I also am glad ammy's are soulbound now.
I wouldn't have minded ammys being made soulbound if I hadn't sold almost every item of value that I own for them -.-
hope this zombie shit does not come soon i have all my 120 ammys in my mainchars vault so i dont care about soulbound
I'll see if I can find something interesting, got my proxy connected to 4.0 testing, seems to be no major packet changes yet.
The new HP and MP stackable slots are 254 and 255 respectively.
Pot stacking is awesome, always hated having such limited space for them, specially with melee classes with no heal. As for zombies, I think it's bullshit. It's already enough that they made ammies soulbound. They should have removed them entirely instead and give some type of compensation. With this zombie thing I don't think there's any reason to use them. The only upside ammies had was the fact that you wouldn't die, now if you can die even when using it, there's no point to them.
As far as when - here's a quote from the GM
"The release will be out in the morning. In the final analysis, while we really wanted to release this today for Halloween, we still had a few bugs we wanted to make sure were taken care of. Better to release a few hours later than we wanted than to shove more bugs out the door, wouldn't you agree?
(FWIW, no, all the bugs aren't fixed -- but we are knocking down some of the worst ones.)"
