File is changed : W[2007] L[0] CShell. dll error

So there was a new update/maintence last night for CF NA, and every since the update, I've been getting a HGWC error that basically says "File is changed : W[2007] L[0] Cshell. dll.

I've searched around the forums, and the internet in general for solutions but most of them are outdated, and none of the suggestions (such as redownloading/reinstalling) really helped. There was someone on the z8 forums that suggested that I went to C:\Program Files\Z8Games\CrossFire\backup\1108/D1 to extract the backup CShell. dll for this patch, but unfortunately my backup files only go up to 1107. If one can try looking through their CF files and upload CShell. dll for me from the folder, that would be great, and it would be much appreciated. If not, please give me some suggestions that might solve the problem that doesn't include reinstalling, because I've done that about 3 times in the past 2 hours and it didn't help at all.

While you were re-installing, did you re-install in safe mode?
Really, when it comes to CShell errors, you can't really do anything except to re-install.
If you did re-install in safe-mode and the error is still visible, then you should try using CF Cleaner. It's no use to copy&paste the current CShell.dll from mine to yours, I tried it and it didn't work for some reason.

Hmmm. You're in a bit of a situation. I suggest trying to re-install it once more. Firstly, wipe out everything containing Crossfire in it, and then try to open it, once installed. Keep us updated on the problem, and I wish you the best of luck.

I've tried reinstalling in safe mode, still the same problem.
Will try to install once more when I get back from classes.
