1. Setting up VMware Workstation

After installing VMWare Workstation first, some general settings.

• To do this you will start VMWare Workstation with administrative privileges (right click -> Run as administrator).
• In the menu, then you click in the main category "Edit" "Preferences". Then the following dialog appears:

• Here you click on the "Memory" and select the option "Fit all virtual machine memory into reserved host RAM"

Now everything is ready to install Windows XP on a new machine.

2. Installation of Windows XP

2.1 Creating the virtual machine

• Click in the menu under "File" click "Create new virtual machine"
• A dialog you choose first "Custom" and then click "Next"
•

• 
• 
• In this step, you choose to "number of cores per processor" from the maximum number of cores your processor has. This should be 4 pieces in most cases.

2.2 Final optimizations

• Click in the list on the left side, right-click the name of your VM and choose "Settings"
• In the following dialog to delete all unnecessary hardware components, such as eg CD / DVD, floppy, USB controllers, sound cards and printers.

• 

Your first virtual machine is now fully installed, configured and set up ready for the Farmbot to be.

3. Installation of Farmbots

1.3 Modify the VM configuration

• Ensure that all virtual machines are turned off and not running VMWare Workstation
• Go into the folder where you've stored your Windows XP VM (Normally this is located under Documents -> Virtual Machines -> {name}, see step 6 in the installation of Windows XP).
• Click then right-click the VMware configuration file (*. Vmx) and then choose "Open With" and choose Notepad finally (Editor) from.
• Adds the very end of the file the following lines:
  svga.vramSize = 268435456
  monitor_control.restrict_backdoor = "true"
  isolation.tools.getPtrLocation.disable = "true"
  isolation.tools.setPtrLocation.disable = "true"
  isolation.tools.setVersion.disable = "true"
  isolation.tools.getVersion.disable = "true"
  monitor_control.disable_directexec = "true"

3.2 Determining the host IP address

• Open up the command prompt (cmd) on your computer right
• Type in there the command ipconfig
• You see now a list of all your network adapters (LAN, wireless and virtual):

• In this list you are looking for the adapter, which connects you to the Internet. In my case, this is "Ethernet adapter Local Area Connection".
• Search for the line "IPv4 address" and you listed the value displayed there (in this case: 192 168 178 128)

3.3 Configuration of network services

• In order to communicate properly with the Farmbot later your host PC (AuthenticateServer), you have to start her on both the VM, as well as on your computer right a certain Netwerkdienst
• Give this one under the command Run services.msc and press enter
• In the window you're looking for the service, "Routing and Remote Access"

3.4 Installation of Farmbots on the VM

• Extract all files in a folder of your choice (preferably on the desktop)
• Now opens the Authenticate.ini, wearing one there that calculated in step 6.2 Host IP address in the specified row and stores the file
• Now just have to run the setup.bat file and the security question will be confirmed with YES

3.5 Start Crossfire

• The facility is now complete and the Farmbots Crossfire is ready for launch

4. Virtual machine cloning

• Now a final click on "Finish" and you've got a second, fully equipped VM in your list

Are you dumb???? Set it up and leave it there? without an authenticate? Lol even it not you, but dont copy them and post it with out source!!!
And btw, this site selling it for 25 euro! IT'S NOT FREE!

wont work to start crossfire, and you copyed it off an old mpgh thread.
