    Gaming headset

I'm wanting to get a gaming headset sometime in the near future. I want to spend about $100. My options atm are the Turtle Beach PX21's
Buy Turtle Beach Ear Force PX21 Headset (PC, Xbox 360 & PS3) for PS3 at Mighty Ape NZ

    and the Tritton Kunai

Buy Tritton Kunai Headset (Black) (PS3 & PS Vita) for PS3 at Mighty Ape NZ

I've heard that the PX21's break after a few months which I don't want... Are the Kunai's any good?

Also I want a headset that has a Bass and Treble control. Just found out that the Kunai's don't have that

Nah, could get a bunch of 10 year old CoD squeakers thinking they know how to write a review.

I used to have Px21's before upgrading to my Px5's. They're decent, but the size of the earcups are completely irritating. It really hurts my ears, but all the other aspects are nice. The P11's beat the Px21's regarding comfort, at least in my opinion.

Since you're looking to manually adjust bass boost and stuff, go for the Px21's Also, the rotating earcups are a pretty good feature, but can also lead to damage if it isn't properly taken care of. I've heard multiple stories from friends breaking their Px21's.

The problem with turtle beachs are that they're either really cheaply made, look ugly and some look really bulky :/ and expensive if you want a good headset

That's another option actually. Is the sound quality better than the PX21's?

Actually, I think that the Px21's sound quality are better than the P11's. The only flaw would be how cheaply it is made causing the risk of breaking a pretty high percentage, and how the earcups are a pretty small size causing discomfort.

I saw a great improvement in comfort as the Px5's have 50mm earcups, unlike the Px21's which I think are 40mm?

21's have amazing sound quality and voice quality, I mean amazing. Though honestly, I suggest the tittons. I have tittons and they're fucking fantastic, just as good quality as the TB's and are durable as hell.

So that Kunai would be my best bet? I also like the style of them For games like BF3, would I need Bass and Treble boosters?

Reason why I don't want to get them the PX5's are too expensive at this point of time haha

NOT the turtle beaches. They are made out of cheap plastic that can break with literally your pinky and the ear cups are REALLY REAAAALLLLY fucking uncomfortable.

Well, the Kunai's don't have the ability to manually adjust your bass unlike the Px21's which do. They both have 40mm ear cups, but the Kunai's are better looking and are available in 3 colors (white, red, and black).

I'd suggest getting the Kunai though, even though it's slightly more expensive than the Px21's, your budget will do

Well true @InCognito's post, the ear muffs do get painful after a while, there's basically no cushion under the ear muff, it's just the ring around your ear which doesn't do anything but muffle sounds from the outside.
