Strange prob

I am having issues when i start op my black ops(single, multi, zombie) in Steam
I was able to join a game but never load it. so i read that i should update my driver.
I did this but now i am stuck on the first load screen in the game.
It freeze/crash i am able to ctrl + alt + delete and close it down.
But steam automatic start a new one. so i have to close both steam and call of duty down.
I tried the Alt + enter but it dosnt put it into window mode.

What could be wrong? Thanks in advance for the help

It freezes for one of my friends too. Just wait like 5-10 mins. For me it freezes for like 10 secs the first time i start it.

It freezes here too... Like 30~50 seconds sometimes.. just be patience. Specially if you PC isn't that great.
