If you're farming with 2 other people and you're getting the kills yes your k.d will go up, but if you are all taking turns it will go down.
1v1 farming will keep your k.d the same just raising your rank / score.

When you farm with 2 people your KDR automatically goes down to 0

Depending on how you will do it. If you are farming with your account with 2 other accounts indeed your kdr will go up. And if you are helping them farm, then it probably won't go up unless you leave when it says "mission failed" or if you use another account.
