And what I meant to ask was why it wouldn't be possible to just write 0 to the recoil vector through an external program. I'd figure you'd be able to write fast enough...

It is possible... And even if you do it internally, you don't need to hook anything at all, just create a thread and keep writing from it.

Yes but creating a thread with no sleeping or a Sleep(1) will cause a shitload of lag.
If you hook it, then you can guarantee it'll always work and the game has no lag.

No it wont.. I (almost) always did like that. And hooking is way riskier... it isn't worth it. But of course, if you already have a hook set up for an ESP or something.. then adding a NoRecoil to it won't make any difference, but creating a hook only for NoRecoil?

Not everyone has a beast PC like yours So yes,for some people, it will cause lag.
