In the past I've always used autohotkey scripts with maplestory but when I tried to today it shut down maplestory after my script had been running for about a minute or so. I tried compiling it to an exe and running it that way but it still wouldn't work, maplestory still closed down.

Is there any way around this? Running Maplestory in a virtual PC and the macro on the host works but that sounds like overkill to me.
