[TUT] How To Make A Maplestory Private Server, V62

Hey,

I am going to show you how to make a fucking V62 server,
The Repack is made by Moogra, but this tut is made by me (Rickpwns)
I am sure there will be some leechers that will release them on other forums,

Okay guys let's freakin start;


First of all let's download the required stuff

Note About These Files;
The Items with a Red * After The Name,
Is REQUIRED To Download.

If It's A Green * After The Name,
Then It Is NOT Required to download,
But it CAN be Useful!

You only have to choose one!

W00t! You have all downloads now, Congratulations!
If you can't make it till this part, I think you need to go to a doctor and tell him your brain is missing...

Okay, Let's go on

Install All The Files,
If you want to wait with that part, you have to download the Java JDK Update..
Get The JCE Files, And put them in the following folders*;

It should be something like this at your computer (the location of the folders can you find if you install the JDK Files)

C:Program FilesJavajre6libsecurity
C:Program FilesJavajre6libext
C:Program FilesJavajre6lib
C:Program FilesJavajdk1.6.0_10lib
C:Program FilesJavajdk1.6.0_10jrelib
C:Program FilesJavajdk1.6.0_10jrelibext
C:Program FilesJavajdk1.6.0_10jrelibsecurity

*Note; Some people say that you onley need to copy the unlimited strength files to the jre folder 6. You can try it, but im not sure it will work perfectly!


Now install one of the MySQL Server (5.0/6.0)

Install it, and if it asks to configure it, Tick the box and click next,
A new window will pop-up and ask you some questions,
You can configure by yourself, but if you don't know what you are doing, just simply leave it the default,
You can leave it default till you get the part where it's asking for a login name/ or password,
Like;


You can set Password to anything you want, just remember it!
I recommend it to put it as root (that will be the same as your login)

Okay you have made it so far Congrats!
Ok, now open MySQL Query Browser;
You will get an windows like this;


Fill in;

Server Host; localhost
Username; root
Password; Password set while configuring MySQL 5.0/6.0
default schema; Put in 'odinms' without ''

Unpack The Source (Thepack Rev 80)

If you logged in,
Click file, open script, Go to Thepack Rev80, SQL's, Then select '01-Thepack'
Open it, Then you will see this;



Ok, When you did that, The SQL Is Extracted....
You will now see something like this;


We are Doing good now
I Recommend to execute ALL SQL's!
If not you will missing some parts like shops etc.

Now We have to do a very boring part....

Setting up the server files, it's easy,
Download the wz list, and do it inyour repack list (where the starter.bat etc. is)
It will look like this;

Now in each file you have to do the wz file.
So in base.wz do the V62 base.wz file, In character.wz do the character.wz file...
Don't put them if you open base.wz in the folders (because they are also called base.wz, characters.wz etc.)

Now if done, Congratulations! You have just done the most stupid part

Now to configure everything go to db.properties
or open it with notepad
Of course I made a special screen for you...
This will help you
Please look down bellow

Root is your login so leave that.
If you left the password blank, then remove the 'root' after password
Change the 'root' after password, to the password you configured at the MySQL Server setup.

Now open world.properties;
Look at picture below how to configure that;




Now, if you are done with that, we are going to set up your channel.properties and your login.properties
Open channel.properties
It must be like this;



Now setup your login.properties
Must be look like;
