    Max VGA resolution

K lemme make this simple. I got and über PC. I got a few über screens. But I'm missing and über tablet. Now I was thinking about getting a Cintiq 21UX, but the price made me think again (like that's nearly two 2560*1600 monitors wtf). So I happened to come across a DIY guide on making a DIY Cintiq. Good news - it's cheap (running low on cash). Bad news - I'm not wrecking one of my monitors. So I happen to notice a monitor for like under $200 with a decent resolution of 2048*1152. The problem is it's only got VGA, no DVI or HDMI. So anyone know whether the screen will be blurred or crisp like DVI?

And if anyone knows a cheap screen with over 1920*1200 (2.3MP I believe) you can gimme a link if it won't kill you.

My max is 1920*1200 (default at 1620*1050), but it wasn't under 200. I believe you will notice a little degradation if you are accustomed to a HDMI input.

I got 2 2560*1600 monitors and 2 1920*1200 monitors. I know that using VGA on the big ones results in a horror, while the 1920*1200 (using a VGA - DVI since they don't have VGA) is barely noticable, but I use medium quality cables. As for the price, I'm sure I can get it under 200, but I wonder how much the image will be distorted using a higher quality cable. Somehow I haven't been able to track down that info on google or from my freinds... If it's like just the colour being off a bit that's acceptable, but if it's like pixels being blurred then no way.

I really don't know the answer to that. You might try looking on the powerstrip forums, Ive found answers to some pretty unusual monitor/resolution problems there.

Currently I got 2 GTX295 in quad SLI (city where I go to school), but my other PC ("home") has 3 GTX285s. Nvidia 4 ever.
