Why is CoD so popular?

Actually I have been around guns all my life the Arm 2 or what ever it is is more real then BF3 but I don't find it fun sitting some were for 10 mins trying to get one shot right then they move and I have to start all over again.

I was commenting on the kids who still think BF or any video game is realistic. ARMA does a better job of it, but even then. BF is just a joke in the realism department though.

I play BOII on pc every now and then. Its just for zombies though. I like their zombies. But, everything else is garbage. They only have they twenty guns in all. Combat arms is wayy better. Cod actually bores me. I'd rather sit through a lecture, then watch a couple no-life ******s talk about "Bouncing betties' and "Ray guns"..

To me Battlefield 2 is more of a "Pc Game" more then a "Console Game"

and CoD is so popular because of the fan base it has.. and it is a fun game if you have friends and what not to play with and troll people.

Completely agreed. ARMA 2 is the only realistic FPS out there, though I do prefer BF3 or CoD.

What. A shitty game that runs on a 10+ year old engine, has micro transactions and is the same type of fps is better?

BF was the worst FPS I've played on a console IMO.
I don't know why everyone believed it was so realistic.
