Battleye global ban #3F0695 still banned with ney key?

well basically my friend is trying to get back into the game and apparently he's banned even after he got a new key (completely new and clean key), when i use that key it's not banned, but whatever key he uses it says it's banned for him (the key doesn't actually get banned)
so basically: somehow the ban is attached to him, not the key, the key does not get banned after he uses it, if i use the key i can play normally
how can we fix this? been struggling for days

Use DayZ Commander, not Steam. Launching with Steam reverts back the banned one originally purchased on that Steam account. In Commander, make sure to hit "Settings" and then uncheck launch with Steam. I'm assuming that he's been launching with Steam so tell him to use Darky Key Changer to switch to the unbanned key and then use Commander.

If he is running the game on steam, then steam will try to fix the key by replacing it with the original. When done, if the old key is banned he will remain banned.
