Your views on Admins hacking?

What do you think of Admins who hack to reduce to amount of hackers? Dicks or Fair? Just wondering because i think that hacks help prevent hackers and no one really wants hackers on there server...

Well server i play on has been getting a DDOS attack and several hackers because the admins hack to prevent hackers easier + they won't them alone and keep coming back T_T

Then maybe the admins should shut the server down and wait. They'll get tired of attacking it and just stop.

Well, I personally think it's hypocritical if you use hacks in the same way other hackers do, which a lot of admins do. But nevertheless it's their server, and of course they can do what they like. And if admins start to really use scripts to battle other hackers, then we will most probably evolve and create new scripts to battle the admins.

But I would still say they are dicks and hypocritical if they hack their own server and players, but honestly who really gives a fuck and who are we to judge? We're hackers...

I think if the server admins are running a legit server thats populated and the majority are playing legit then they should too...I know of a server where I found the admins base...I seen 1 of them on esp 1000m's away then a second later it said I was killed by 'whoever' from 35m's with weapon M4 CCO....He tele'd then 1 shot me! We had a little scrap in side and he claimed he logged in at base and I just happened to be there. The whole server seen this and sided with the admin clan of course but little did he know I seen him comin on ESP...That shit I dont agree with. If they gonna hack then let others too or be bloody open about it.!

I have made it my personal mission to 'disrupt' this server now!

Sometimes them hacking is the only way to catch hackers. However if you're going to do stuff like spawn in stuff for yourself and teleporting yet restricting other players from doing the same, then that's just power abuse.
I don't agree that " It's their server , let them do the fuck they want." If it was their server and they were playing alone or with another friend , then that would apply. But as soon as other players join in it's no longer only about them.

Along side of my hacks to keep other hackers out I thinks its fine a a great way to tell if people are hacking

Hypocritical, but everybody is a hypocrite to some extent. It can't be helped. And you have to remember this is DayZ we are talking about.

If they abuse it then no one will play on their server. So it is mostly self regulating anyway.

I personally run my hacks when I'm on my own server. But it honestly depends what the admin abuses. I've seen my fair share of admins get their servers blacklisted because of hacking and false bans.

I think it can be a good thing, but often is not. They get power hungry and start doing bad things!

Well with great power comes great responsibility. And most admins are 12 year old's using mommy's credit card...
So one way or another, they will get bored and unleash their inner child. And it is annoying.

Exactly. I was banned from 20+ servers because of 1 corrupt admin.
