Meh, I like to use a veriety of nature brushes...Standard one work well for me too.
i like graffiti brushes.....urban ftw lol

Green was a bad choice, id over gone with a burnt orange-red grunge style..
and a few adjustment layers..

ok, but realistically, i wasnt trying to match the colors of the background with render, see how the render is close to the first C4D....i was trying to idk link it to that or some shit im not quite sure.
