    Checking for realm?

    Hey ya'll, with the addition of the 0 to interact key recently, I find myself just mashing it to get into realms and dungeons quicker. I'm wondering if theres some way to have the client detect when there is a realm to get into, so when you walk over it, it presses 0 for you. All I need is for someone to tell me what class thing its in and where it is, and I'll be on my way.

    I never really had a problem getting into realms/dungeons (with maybe an exception for cemetery) so I'm not sure how useful it'll be as you describe it. Aside from that, you are thinking too narrowly. There in fact is no restriction on position when entering realms/dungeons. If it is on your screen, you could have it so the client enters the realm/dungeon without having to walk over there.
    Be careful, stray too far from the pack and you'll get lost.

    O.O Well then. I didn't know that was possible. What class type thing would I put code to do that in?
    That would be awesome...
    Maybe if I get it working, @flyrocket could add it to OryxDom 2.0 as a new feature :P

    I think a good place to start is looking for portals around you. Where you choose to do that is up to you.

    That makes sense, but in what class should I do that? I'll probably take AS3 courses online, since the only programming I've done is Java...

    Well if you understand how the auto aim code works you'll have an idea of what to do. It should be somewhat similar to that.

    The auto aim code looks for all enemies around the player, only in this case you want to look for portals.
