Dude, I'm so happy I got you to come back here after I made you ragequit all them years ago. I saw potential in you and i trecked into enemy territory just to win back my beloved Bawlz of Steel. And you came back stronger than ever. I've always hoped that seeks would be the same but he's stuck in his bloody style. Even my girlfriend who's never seen a signature in her life looked at his portfolio and thinks they all look the same. He needs to be inspired. He needs to be slapped out of it. Your speech makes me want to beat his ass back to stone ages in the upcoming battle just so he can realise what tough love can do, so that he's to go back to basics. He's created his own set of fundamentals that is choking his creativity, if he even has any.

Goddamn that was back in 2009. I didn't topaz whore at all after that. I used it mostly for clean up.
I'm working on a couple tags right now just to knock the rust off, all in all I think I'm getting close to battle ready.
After not touching PS for about a year and a half I almost forgot how fun tagging can be.
My first smudge was kinda meh. Will post it in showoffs later. Haha remind me to go back and actually critique your tag.

Have you tried going to more advanced sites and seeing the kind of stuff they make? You need to inspire yourself. You to start from scratch. Dont use any of the resources you have. Work from different stocks create your own effects by melding different things together. Try a style that's drastically different to yours. Dont do studying because it's not very interesting nor challenging unless you're attempting MKS or till0s style. For what you've been creating I recommend looking at the kind of shit Danillo makes. I'm not saying copy people's styles but draw inspiration from it. Use negativity to fuel your progression. Shit man it shouldn't be hard to do.

I doubt many get that much inspiration from me anyway.
My digital stuff isn't all that great compared to other stuff I've seen.

Trust me I'm not picking on him, at least that's not my intention. I'm fine with him posting in General, the reason why I made this thread was so people are exposed to more than one "artist". I'm just genuinely tired of him making the same kind of shit over and over. Using topaz as a crutch, using centred vocals, over-sharpening, using colours that aren't complementary or supplementary, disregard composition basics and just rehashing the same style for the last to years. A friend of mine named finnion went from beginner to pretty fucking pro in a year because he just motivated himself to be better than everyone else that shat on his work. Thats what seyeko should be doing.

You dont have to go to the first tutorial and start from there. You should have enough knowledge to just look at boatloads of tuts and psd's, find a style you like and go from there. The problem with tuts is that they're very linear and dont allow for much variation unless you're just looking for a specific technique. I'll post up some links tonight.

@iTzSeyeko™ Some of that is gewd. Try looking at this kind of shit for inspirational as well. A lot of different styles to pick and choose from.
