Which one do you find better?

Clipping mask needs much more work.
Background is way too plain.
C4D's are unneeded in the spots they are currently in.
Text could be better
Lighting is not very good.

the first one is too bright and the second one is too plain. the c4ds in the first one dont really add much flow. the second one isnt very bended. maybe you should use a smaller size?

The first one doesn't have any C4D's. O.o

And yeah, I used the height as 500px.

Well i like the brightness of the first one,
and the font choices.
Its just pretty awesome to me, i wouldn't change it [but thats just me]
Second could use a little more action over the right arm.. maybe a clipping mask or CD4.. something subtle..

lol Yeah, I don't really aim for Flow when I throw in the brushes. I think that may be a downside for me.
I just use them to fill in the BG so its not plain.

They are pretty good. The first one is a bit bright in my opinion. Clippping masks look a bit like they were just whacked on for the sake of it.

Second is good but the c4d doesnt really match it.

I'm still pretty noob on this depth thing.
Everyone says do the "Blur->Sharpen" thing but when I do that, it looks completely crappy.

As for clipping masks, yeah, I'm terrible at that. I've been putting them on my signatures to try and get better.
