BF3 because it has more diversity. And not many people still play BFBC2, so it's kinda dead + you can get nexus Emulator BFBC2 for free.

Do you mean like what is supression?
It's basically like if you shoot near someone their screen goes slightly blury and its is much harder to shoot the enemy.
This is annoying because a bad player can just spray at you and because all the bullets missing are causing your screen go blury you can never get a shot on him and he will kill you.

Sorry for the super quick bump... I'm probably going to buy and go for BF3 tomorrow; any last opinions on BF3/BC2?

I prefered BC2 to BF3 in nearly every way. BF3 was just BC2 with jets, and CoD styled maps in terms of spawn fucking and chokepoints (Metro), and incredibly disappointing destruction. Not to mention the guns feel worse, and recon is fucked. This is all my opinion though. I'm biased against BF3 due to them ignoring everything that made BF1942/2/2142 so good.

Are you kidding me? 64 player maps and jets doesn't make it any more like older BF's. If you were to release BF3 straight after 2142 everyone would think it were a completely different IP. It is nothing like the older games.
