I do not why people are treating this like some kind of god, all they did was add some more cheap looking lighting, and why did they even make a campaign, these days every single military shooter has a campaign but they are all very linear, and reviewers make note of this but they never actually take it into that much of an effect in the final score.

Now when a military shooter comes out they feels obligated to throw in a shitty campaign because their competition is doing it, but why?

The video is not exciting at all to me, I would have rather seen 1 minute of actual multiplayer gameplay then 17 minutes of this campaign.

And for the people defending this game like it is their child or something, stop, you owe the company nothing so stop making yourself look dumb by defending it over and over again with the same reasoning.

No matter what, haters are going to hate for some reason.
BF4 is going into the direction of CoD but stays modern instead of futuristic; which I appreciate.
Even though BF4 is going to lose it's "Battlefield-ness" a bit, it still looks good.

But overall, uhm... 6/10. It's basically a remake of BF3 + some little improvements, same as BF:BC2 --> BF3.

BF4 uses the same frostbite engine used in BF3, except this time they ramped everything up just a bit. Player movements are obviously improved looking at this video. Particle effects regardless of what you may think of them are extremely cpu/gpu intensive, the more particle effects we get the more realistic things like explosions, fires, smoke, etc look. Eventually as particle physics and execution on computers gets more and more advanced we'll start seeing a lot more life like shit. New destruction engine akin to what we saw in BFBC2 is making a comeback in BF4 which means a more building destruction, possibly even dynamic.

If you're not that amazed by the game's graphics then calm the fuck down, it uses the same engine as before. If you're going to be mad at anything it should be EA creating release schedules for games instead of letting developers release shit when they're ready.

Next gen consoles do get to look forward to 64 player matches which is really what BF3 really was about, except on maybe smaller maps.

Nah man. Im mad that they chose the exact same art direction to showcase a next-gen title. It doesnt matter about particle effects if theyre all drowned in fares and oversaturation. I was hoping theyd go back to natural lighting but instead they really on superficial filters that everyon is sick of. They chose to showcase nothing special, nothing different other than how much prettier it is than CoD. Its catering to the lowest common denominator. Theres nothing wrong with that but when its ment to be a next-gen title it comes off as a lazy grab. It might as well be saying look how pretty bf3 will look on a next-gen platform rather than check out this NEW game we've been working on for the past couple years.

And the destruction is only paramount in the multiplayer so ill reserve my judgement until the final release. I mean bf3 had terraforming up until final release before they gimped it.

Your wrong in this day and age it's all about the graphics if no one cared about graphics everyone would go back to playing old school shit. At lest back in my day it was all about the story and gameplay now game makers just want money so they rush a game then it fails.
