Communism vs Capitalism

What are your pros and cons of each and which do you prefer?

I personally cannot decide for myself, in a perfect world where people actually worked the same amount for the greater good a communism would be good but we are not in a perfect world.

In capitalism people are able to have their greed at their fullest potential.

Anarchy would not work because humans are just too plain stupid to rule themselves.

Here is why I say this, when you have your business and when you alot of money some people will use the money to further increase their money rather than helping others.

So by this I am saying that capitalism can sometimes bring out the evil and greed in people.

Even if in a perfect world and everybody made the same amount of money. If the money was evenly distributed across the whole population, everybody on this site would be living in standards lower than they currently do.

Did you seriously just say you'd rather have Communism in America? Name a single communist society that EVER prospered.

At least capitalism works somewhat. Communism destroyed the Soviet Union.

Even in an ideal world, the chance for utter failure is always higher in a communist society. Though it may raise the standards for the very low classes, even the average middle-class worker's situation would decline. I equate it to a classroom. If we help out the F students and give them all C's, their grades will be better, but will they be? Giving freebies doesn't truly help the person, it only creates a dependence on the government. The same applies to A students. If we give them C's, will they be happy? They did more work, they studied harder, yet they receive exactly the same as those who did nothing. Not only does this cause disruption among the people, it has some other effects as well. Why would the A students work more, when they could do less and get the same? Communism causes a forward mental stagnation by being OK with the status quo.

Fuck communism and let those who can not help themselves perish.
