I'm 1.78 meters tall, I weigh 54 kilograms and my BMI is 17.04. For breakfast I eat 2 sandwiches with Nutella, for lunch I eat 3 sandwiches with cheese and for dinner I eat one portion of what my mother made. I sometimes skip lunch though. Thanks for responding.

Your diet is going to hurt your metabolism big time. No more nutella, no more skipping lunch.

Lean proteins, whole grains, fruits, and veggies. Find a favorite fruit and veggie and eat them every time you become hungry. For meats, white solid tuna in water and chicken breast. White turkey meat is okay as well. A steak every now and again is also okay. Cut out the junk foods and processed foods. Anything with food dyes and any chemical alterations (fake sugars, proteins, etc) need to be taken out.

For lifting save some money and get a set of 15 pound hex dumbells. That's all you'll need to start off. Look at yard sales because you can find weights for mad cheap, five bucks compared to fifteen/twenty. Lift them to failure. The people that said light weight will never work are wrong. Do five sets in your workout, every set do as many reps as you can until you can't lift the weight further than one inch. Wait about ten minutes, then do it again. In between do some squats, but no heavy cardio. Do core building workouts to help your body support itself properly.

Alright, so what should I eat on my bread then? Cheese or ham or something like that? And I'll save up for a set of dumbells. Thanks for responding again, and for your great advice

Edit: I just found 2 dumbells of 1.5 kilos, that's 3.31 pounds. Will those do the trick as well?

I wouldn't go for those, not because they're too light, but because you'll get bored before you finish your workout.

I would suggest just not eating bread to be honest, you're probably eating white break I assume which is not healthy. If you have to eat something with bread do organic peanut butter on wheat bread. You can also do a tuna sandwich.

Oh alright. I'll go for the 15 pounds set then. I never eat white bread, I always eat wheat bread. Should I take muesli/cornflakes as breakfest then? Or something else?

You can eat it but have a smaller portion. Try to focus more on eggs and veggies in the morning with a glass of organic OJ, it will give you more fuel throughout the day and you will even see an improvement in your schoolwork. Cereal doesn't give much more than just carbs to keep you awake.
