Turning Off Norton 360 Auto-Protect

I'm sure there's been another topic like this,but I can't find it.

I've got Norton 360 Premier Edition. When I try to extract all the files, the CFPUB.dll isn't extracting and my auto-protect is saying its a virus.

Any ideas how to turn it off momentarily just to extract the dam thing?

Easy, uninstall that piece of shit and get a better one...

click on little icon in toolbar and see if theres a setting you can change

right click the icon on the tray and click disable antivirus auto-protect..

first. nova=screw you xD

second. there is an option to disable it but its gray and i cant click on it.

i tried to see if i could turn off the entire thing, but idk how and i REALLY dont want to take that risk.

Hey it's true, Norton sucks!
It eats up a shit load of RAM!

my friend gots norton 360 like you. he said his retarded mom paid a couple hundred $ for it. i like avast, and i think he shouldve gten that...

but yea i go to his house all the time and we hav the same problem. we got no idea how to turn the shit off. but i can think of one thing we havent tried....

go to tools, then startup (in ccleaner program)

then disable norton

reboot

no more norton! yaaay! XD

try it. it should work. ill tell my frien this when he comes back from his dads

and im pretty sure itl work cuz when i do it, i can disable avast at my house.
