Remove Optifine from Clients?

Is it possible to remove Optfine from.. lets say.. Nodus?

That would help me a lot!

Nobody would purposely remove Optifine, just saying because it's essential for many users in order to play laglessly. It also enhances vision if settings are fixed to do so.

Well thats not really what I asked but if you really want to know, here we go!

I have shaders installed and in order to be able to run shaders I need a different version of Optifine. If I remove Optifine from the client I think I might be able to run the client with shaders mod.

Just do a force update on the client's login screen (options -> force update). If you had other mods you will need to re-install them after you have done a force update. NOTE: you won't lose texture packs.

Force updating would also remove Nodus... the OP wants OptiFine to be removed, not the entire hack.

NO it would not be possible. Force updating would remove the whole client in general. Removing the class files would've the client dysfunctional. Only way you could is by accessing the source code (deobfuscated) and physically remove the optifine code.
