What do you mean? i download CF br 2 Days ago, and when i try to play, Show that message.

Follow these Steps

1 - Go through this path: C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc , when at "etc" folder, delete all the files in it;

2 - Reinstall CrossFire:

Go to "Programs and Features" at your Control Panel, browse the list until you find CrossFire, Right Click It and Remove;

Go to C:\ and delete a folder named "CFLog". if there's not there go to C:\Program Files\ and search for it. If there's still not such folder, go to the next step;

Go to C:\Program Files\, find the folder named "Z8games" and delete it;

Clean your recycling bin at your desktop;

Click your Windows Start button, write in your search box the following: regedit . When in your System Registry Editor,
find this Key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Z8Games . If the Key exists, Right Click Z8games and Delete/Remove Registry Key;

Download CrossFire América Latina: https://br.crossfire.z8games.com/downloads3.aspx ;

After Downloading is complete, place CrossFire_SA.exe file in your Desktop;

Reboot your Computer. Before anything, click F8 keyboard key while your computer is booting up. When you are in the Windows Running Options Menu, choose to Run In Safe Mode and click Enter;

Run CrossFire_SA(.exe) as Administrator and Install the Game. Through all the process to Install Crossfire, run everything as Administrator;

After Installing CrossFire AL in Safe Mode, when in the 'CrossFire was Installed Sucessfully' Window, Do Not Run CrossFire, UNTICK the Option Box "Run CrossFire".

3 - Reboot your Computer again, this time normally. Turn your Firewall and your AntiVirus OFF.


Now Right Click on the version File and click Properties. TICK the "Read Only" Box below at Attributes.

4 - Still in CrossFire Folder, Right Click patcher_cf(.exe) File, and Properties. Click the "Compatibility" Tab and TICK the "Always run as Administrator" Box. Do the same for crossfire(.exe) File.

5 - Launch CrossFire AL by Double Clicking patcher_cf(.exe).

6 - If no problems were found, Reboot your PC and Run CrossFire again to make sure it's working.

After trying these steps give feedback.
