Trust me, I've had spicy food. I find the actually spiciness of it to overpower everything else in the food. One example could be wasabi. I love sushi but won't have the wasabi on it because of the flavour of it... the spice I can handle, just don't like the taste of it

I work with a bunch of lations and they bring in home cooked latin food all the time. Apparently im the only gringo that actually really likes the spicy shit. Tamales are amazing.

Other than that I have a super high tolerance. Ive had a few raw habenero peppers before. Spicy, but not insane.

I'm with you on the habenero peppers, then again the only reason I can take spicy food is because I was a dumbass when I was younger and decided to take a cap full of Blairs Ultra Death sauce, made my tongue bleed. I really want a Naga Viper in a meal some time though, they're said to be delicious once you get past the deadly scoville rating.
