[MPGH]Shane: Hi Lonesome Cowboy, how are you today?
[MPGH]Lonesome Cowboy: Hey, I'm just doing fine! (: Playing some LoL ARAM, listening to music, it's a fine day today!
[MPGH]Shane: That's cool, I play LoL as well, it's a very strategic game, so when did you join MPGH? And how did you find out about the site?
[MPGH]Lonesome Cowboy: I joined back in early 2010, so I'm kind of a middle-phag I suppose... I was seeing a lot of CF hackers, so I searched for them. MPGH was the first hit on Google. Registered to download, started posting, here since then (:
[MPGH]Shane: There is no such thing as an "old" phag, "middle" phag, and "new" phag, everyone is the same. XD I see that you have contributed to the site a lot, what is your position on MPGH?
[MPGH]Lonesome Cowboy: I am currently Manager for the Minecraft and the Games Wiki(everyone is welcome to join) and am the new Minion of the Minecraft Section.
[MPGH]Shane: Could you explain what you do in those positiions?
[MPGH]Lonesome Cowboy: For the Manager position, I am the one who is responsible for recruiting new editors and giving out tasks to them and to the current Editors. As a Minion of the Minecraft Section, I am the one approving the hacks, closing what needs to be closed. My role is also ensuring that the section is clear of spam, advertisements and other bannable stuff.
[MPGH]Shane: Sounds like lots of hardwork, do you remember when you got these positions?
[MPGH]Lonesome Cowboy: I am Wiki Manager for MC and Games since December and am a Minion since a week ago.
[MPGH]Shane: How do you manage your time with moderating your section and being manager at the same time with real life?
[MPGH]Lonesome Cowboy: I really have quite some free time IRL, so it isn't really a problem.
[MPGH]Shane: In the wikis that you manage, have you seen lots of progression? Is everyone doing their work as they're told?
[MPGH]Lonesome Cowboy: The Games Wiki is kind of idle, I am concentrating on the MC Wiki mostly, which has improvement. A lot of content got updated, (re)written, formatted nicely, etc. The Editors are doing a fine job.
[MPGH]Shane: So far being minion, have you seen any big releases by users? What do you think the hardest thing about being minion?
[MPGH]Lonesome Cowboy: No, I haven't seen any big releases yet(!). Mhh... the hardest part is probably judging in a certain situation, if guy 1 or guy 2 is right.
[MPGH]Shane: What do you like about MPGH the most?
[MPGH]Lonesome Cowboy: Tough question. I really like how big it is, even if you leave one section(like I left the CF section) there are hundreds of others to join in. Once you have joined MPGH, you can never leave. Because you always program, or play some games, and on MPGH, there is always a guide/hack for what you are doing. I think that's the real beauty of MPGH.
[MPGH]Shane: Awesome! Besides being on MPGH, what kind of hobbies do you have?
[MPGH]Lonesome Cowboy: I play soccer(you know.. Europian football) for an uncountable amount of years now, also I am playing on the chello for 10 years now.
[MPGH]Shane: That's cool, before we end this interview, would you like to give out any shout outs?
[MPGH]Lonesome Cowboy: I'd like to do so to @
Time, who was with me since the beginning. To @
Doc, who is a really nice guy, to @
Ravallo, who helped me with some stuff, to @
Versa , my hungarian friend and to Gyongytyuk(a.k.a. @
Yolo Swaggins ) who is like the only negative rep person left around here. And last but not least, to you @
Shane for being nice enough to interview me.
[MPGH]Shane: Thanks for the shout out and thank you for your time.
[MPGH]Lonesome Cowboy: No, no. Thank you for this great interview Shane!
