1. If I buy a good video card but my processor is 3.0 dual will it play games like farcray 3 well?
2. Could I make my own pc with good gaming capabilities for like 400£?

Dual cores would be enough, but in games that utilize 4 cores will lag. 2 cores isn't enough for Multiplayer games and editing software.

if you tell me your motherboard specification ill look for a proper gpu within that range because i'll not prescribe a PCI3.0 gpu for you if you only have a 2.0 slot.
