"Everyone is nice". What an overstatement, considering LoL's community is full of raging fgts. Dota 2's community will get worse, but as of now it's fairly okay considering it's not F2P yet like LoL. I remmeber going into a game, and calling some new kid a ****** cause he sucked. I got bashed pretty hard by my teammates and the other teammates, hence showing that the community is fairly decent. I also just like Dota 2 graphics and their heroes better. I find the cartoonyish graphics better than LoL's retarded sparkly omfg wannabe hd shit.

I HAVE nearly 3k of hours on dota 2 and community sucks but at least every heroe is free It's not a pay2 win game like LoL. Noobs on dota 2 always pick up rikki and drow ranger because both heroes are too OP anyway LoL community is big as fuck I heard its around 3 millions players or something but you have to spent $20 or whatever you want to buy stuff which sucks. At least on dota 2 everything is free if you want to customize your heroe you can spend like $5 and $7 not like fucking $20 or $30 That's fucking pathetic. Don't blame me I never played LoL but @Shane buys like every week $20 of some online card for LoL I think it's LoL Points card.

You earn IP playing matches, you can use the IP to buy: Runes, Champs.
You can at your own purchase RP, so you can buy skins / bundles (ex: name change, more rune pages, etc.)

So you only waste money on it if you really want, it's not a pay2win if you can buy anything besides skins with the in-game currency and not with the money currency, I got a OP champ? I played more matches than you, so I got more IP to buy anything I want.
