Meh, anyone could make a gun even before 3D printers. I can make a 12 gauge shotgun with nails, a spring, and some PVC pipe.

There is different quality in 3d printing and other factors such as the PC material and precision. Some use UV and others use extruders for the plastic material.

Yeah i guess :/ but still if you have a well equipped workshop you have about the same ability to make guns as if you own a 3d printer

Well yeah, ofc you do. Depends on how it is designed and if the PC you are supplied with can handle the stress.

Those expensive 3d printers have the option of using other materials in their printing process. I'm actually in the market for a 3d printer, pref HQ and I could build on my own.
