M14 ACOG to M14 SE scope {MODEL EDITORS ONLY}
I'm in a bit of a pickle, My ltb to lta converter stopped working as I switched operating systems from Windows 7 to Windows XP. I need for an experienced person to convert the included ltb to an lta, and delete the entire gun except the mount and the sniper scope.
Furthermore, I will do the rest of the work. In fact, it's probably easier if someone can just convert it for me. It's always appreciated to do both, I will release a mod that includes the scope and of course, give you credit.

first issue you have with me doing it is you keep putting it in rar files, i'm at work, we don't have WinRAR and fancy shit like that lol

i know i shouldn't double post, but this is so you know its a new post

these are the LTA files you for some reason couldn't get. Update your .NET frameworks and such probably...

as for all that... i'm at work, i dont have ModelEdit and all that at work, so i can't test to see if i remove the right stuff, you know how to do it through note pad, just do it.

w8 nvm I still need help.
The problem I am having is that the hierarchy does not register as being present, I switched the matrices of the acog to the PV_SCOPE, but did not change the texture indices. Those are all the changes I made to the acog file. MODEL EDIT wont open because it says the model does not have any hierarchy or that the hierarchy does not have any children.

Changed my mind, sorry. I had an error with the lta file in Model Edit, so I wanted to keep it open for discussion.

its model edit that the problem is, i can't test my customizations to the code if i can't open it in model edit. There's nothing wrong with the LTA

I can't seem to open it up in Model Edit either, I want to convert it soon so I can test it out. I guess, we have to keep working tomorrow

BTW, I just wanted to know what customization you made to my code, if you can please post it here, so I can try it out. I know I shouldn't double post, but its so you see that this is a new inquiry. Also, do you get an error report that asks you to send it to Microsoft? I do.
