How should i start?

Hi there, so i'm new to GSC coding, and also new to this forum.

I was wondering.Where and How should i start? what is the most Programming Language similar to GSC that i should learn to start modding?

I'm thinking of C++, I have a little experience in it, and to me it is the most similar language to GSC so should i learn it? and if you have any suggestions, ill work on them as hard as i can

Of course you should learn C++, it makes it a lot easier.
And I think you should start by simply looking at mods, what the codes do and try to edit a mod.
