So, background story:
I am seller here on MPGH, selling DayZ/Arma 2 OA CD-keys. This guy messages me, wanting to buy a key. He asks what that would cost him, I say $2.50. He replies with saying he only have $1.97 asking if he can buy it anyways, I feel generous and agrees on the deal, though then strange things happen.

I made an imgur album with chat screenshots and stuff, as well as titles and descriptions regarding the incidents and explaining every picture.

please take time to read what I have to say there, since I see no point in double posting it here and I couldn't figure out how to do this in a good and comfortable way using the thread tools.

This kid sure has some dedication... assumingly christmas money to buy himself a botnet but not enough to spare some for a CD key for a discounted price..?

Also, regarding one of the screenshots, the one including his payment proof and my suspicion about it being faked; Does it usually display your name or your email as the reciever in this case? I am not too sure myself and as I mention in the imgur album, I am not too familiar when it comes to buying stuff from indiviudal people off of paypal, I usually just buy stuff from steam, amazon etc. and when I have actually bought something from an individual on paypal, it always shows their name rather than email.

The DDOS-downtime itself is not much of a problem really, it will probably die down over time... What I am worried about however, is that this actually was due to some weird paypal bug and that I might have accidentally scammed this person, but that really doesn't explain his overly aggressive reaction and behaviour? I mean, I am trying to be cool about it, keeping a "we both have our suspicions about this, let's wait and see, it might actually be a paypal bug"-attitude, but he appearently has no time for that and I get the feeling this is what he was looking forward to all along, pressing the big red button.

I guess, if anyone want to, feel free to discuss.. don't really know what kind of responses people get over here on this section and I just felt like venting this out and reflect upon it.

When his internet gets shut down for his actions, his parents will know it was something he did and they will take away the kids dessert for a week.
