How to make your own radiostation?

How did you manage to create the ace MPGH radiostation server?

I have set mine up with Vorbis + Icecast 2 and playing music from Winamp.

I can only join my radiostation by 'localhost', and not by my IP. The port using for my radiostation is 8000, do I need to forward it?


Works: http://localhost:8000/stream.ogg

Don't work: http://[MYIPHERE]:8000/stream.ogg

Or do you guys know any other programs, which is easier to use or anything?
