    Animation (both American and Japanese, because they're both fucking awesome) is usually better than live-action as a source of entertainment because a lot more can be shown with it and a lot more can be done with it. It simply adds to the experience of the viewing by doing things that aren't possible in live-action. And even if they are, it would just be an effect anyways, so why not just go the whole 9 yards?
