I meant in the Buy/Sell/Trade section And the average person is Bronze so Silver is above average.

It is an accomplishment. I know about 30 people in my school that play league, and we're all friends, but most are bronze (20 being terribly bad and bronze V), 7 being generally bad, and somewhere between Bronze 4-1, and my 2 close friends who happen to play, who are silver 4, and silver 1.
I was always feeling left out from my friend who was silver, because i felt he was so much better than my bronze 3. Until i hit silver, i felt so much better, and it was an accomplishment, i was ecstatic because i finally had something to prove that i was good at the game (Compared to others i know).

I'm now in gold, which was also a big accomplishment for me, because it means i'm better than even more people, and that i am increasing my skill level in the game.
