​8GB is sufficient for most users, and a game will never take close to that amount.

Depend on you tbh. i5 is cheaper than i7. Depend on the motherboard can hold, some motherboard can only hold 8 and some can hold 16/32

Yes but only fairly-old motherboards can only hold 8gb of ram.
If he does end up with a motherboard with only 8gb of ram compatible, then it most likely won't take a modern GPU.
