As you read on the wiki, they have to land awkwardly, and aren't really made for both driving on the road, and flying.

This car, also isn't made for driving. How do you suppose you're going to shoot out a huge parachute in the middle of the road and fly off?

What we're saying is, it has to be built for the road, and be able to lift off and fly anywhere.
