I wouldn't even call that monstrosity a keyboard.

The designers were trying way too hard to make it sleek, and it ended up looking like a rejected 90's Star Trek prop.

I would try to find a used keyboard locally if I were on a tight budget, assuming you are. I picked up my Razer blackwidow a year ago on sale for about $50 and I have seen many USED ones go for $60, so if you could save a bit more than maybe you could pick up one yourself.
Personally I LOVE this keyboard, works great, feels great, and sounds great. Only downside is that the constant clicking sounds from the keys could be annoying at night if you have a room mate. Other than that, great keyboard.

I found a gem of a cheapy sometime last year. And don't be scared that it's wireless. I don't know if it was just the one I got. But the best keyboard/mouse I ever owned was this one. The only thing that was bad about it was the wireless distance. Can't go very far. But that was never a problem for my case.

It always had perfect response time. Never broke on me and its a very nice size. Not small but not big either.
