Finally, the long rumored Playstation 3 Slim turns out be a reality! PS3 Slim priced at $300 which includes Blu-ray, a 120GB hard disk, DualShock3 controller, and HDMI output with 1080p support is listed with an August 24 release

If you have warranty on your PS3 your fine anyway.

I prefer a bigger console, as it is harder to break. but 300$ is a good price, i might buy one after my tv.

I had the original PS2 and the slim one, didn't care much for the slim.

Not going to make any effort to change my current PS3 to the slim one, unless someone comes to my room and asks to trade right then and there.

Only benefit I can think of is transporting it from place to place.
