Question NEED HELP: "Monitor can't find a signal"

First of all I would like to thank you for taking your time to take a look at my thread, any help would be greatly appreciated! Moving on, I just built a computer from scratch. Here is a list of all the parts used in the build.

    -AMD A10-5800K APU

    -MSI FM2-A75MA-E35 Motherboard

-500GB Western Digital Caviar Blue Hard Drive (I also have an old 100gb hard drive installed from a old computer.)

    -430W Corsair CX430 Power Supply

-Optical Drive - Lite-On DVD Burner

    -Wi-Fi Adapter - Asus PCE-N15

    -RAM - Vengence 8GB

Now to jump to the problem. When ever I boot up my pc, my monitor doesn't do a thing, it just tells me "No-Signal." I've been through probably hundreds of forums over the internet with people having the exact same problem as me. The thing is, all of those people that were having problems either had a video card or graphics card which I don't have. I'm pretty sure I can boot up a computer because my old desk top didn't have a graphics/video card and it worked great. So my question to you guys is, how can I fix this problem? Also, I'm not a pro at this PC build thing yet so try to keep it in english.

Take the computer apart and re-build it step by step.
Each time you add a component, check if it posts.
If you get to a certain component and it doesn't post. There's your problem

It possibly is your DVI-D/VGA Cable.
Try get a new cable and see if it's that.
The same thing is happening too me and I'm getting a new cable within two days.
Or it could be your monitor.

I had to do a compulsory update to my PC and when I did that, the computer rebooted and the monitor said - No signal -
I don't think it will be the graphic's card because why would it happen after update to the computer.
The update didnt say it would do somthing to the GPA or anything.
^ what i'm trying to say, it possibly isn't your Graphic's card, might just be the monitor itself or the Cable.
    Is your monitor/cable new ?
You can go to a Computer repair shop and ask for a Free quote on it

I have, several times. I still couldn't see any problems with the parts.

Everything is brand new, when I turn on my PC the all the fans spin, power lights come on. The monitor is also brand new, it came with a VGA cable and it didn't work. So I figured it wasn't compatible with my motherboard so I got a DVI-D to DVI-D male to male cable and still nothing. I'll take your suggestion and go to a local computer repair shop. When I get around to it, when I do I'll tell you the problem so people having the same problem as me can read this. By the way, thanks for reminding me that I can just go to a repair shop, it didn't cross my mind while I was stressing to fix my computer.
