Scariest SciFi? ET!

Is it just me or is E.T. the most terrifying movie ever. If you don't think so watch it on a late quiet night by yourself. The entire film had an eery atmosphere to it. And the scene where the E.T. comes out of the shed and woddles over to the kid scares the nuts off of me. Anyone else think so? If not what is the scariest thing you've seen in a sci fi movie?
