Most people don't view Hitler as a person. Just a monster. If you look at Germany after WWI then you'd know that its economy was complete shit and it had no real future. Then along comes an Austrian that sings tales of glory for the fatherland. His hitch? He blames it on the jews! It's the scapegoat that got him into power - but just barely. He was an intelligent man and a glorious leader. He knew what he was getting into. His only mistake was attacking Russia.

After all, Hitler killing millions of jews could be considered the Allies fault. The treaty of Versailles prohibited Deutschland from having above a certain amount of battalions or something along that line. They let the Nazi party grow and rise to power, therefore Germany having a bigger military force. Germany annexing Austria wasn't a problem for the allies (which they let happen, while the treaty of Versailles was in effect), but attacking Poland was a big no-no for some reason.
